Our Platform
Bold leadership that delivers for everyone in Washington's Third Legislative District
Spokane residents are working harder than ever and still falling behind. Not because of lack of effort. Because the system is not built for most of us.
Cost of Living
As a community-focused entrepreneur, I created jobs for many Spokane residents. I know what it takes to build businesses that stay here and treat workers with dignity. In Olympia, I will advocate for living wages, strong protections for workers, and local jobs that stay here.
Too many Spokane residents are being priced out of their homes.
Housing
I worked for many years on housing solutions in our community. My focus is on revitalizing our existing housing stock, making homes more energy-efficient and safe, and working with utility companies to lower costs for lower-income and aging residents who need relief most.
Together with the late Sandy Williams and the community on 5th Ave. Forward, we organized to revitalize and rectify past harms. Vacant land along I-90 was once hundreds of homes, Spokane's largest communities of color. Displaced. We must rebuild what was lost. Mixed income housing near transit, community led, with state incentives for green space and tree canopy where it's needed. ADA accessible sidewalks so everyone moves with dignity.
Our seniors built Spokane. They should never have to choose between medication and groceries or sit on endless waitlists for care.
Seniors and Protecting Our Rights
We must honor their contributions by fully funding community-based care, lowering prescription drug costs, and protecting healthcare access from political games. Every person deserves to age with dignity and security. It is a promise we owe one another.
Every child in Spokane deserves a real shot at success, no matter their zip code. I have built early learning programs from the ground up and seen where the system fails kids and families.
Education
We need to fully fund K–12 education, pay providers and educators what they deserve, and make sure the schools our children walk into every day are funded like the future depends on them. Because it does.
Every family in Spokane deserves access to affordable, high-quality childcare and early learning. Parents should not have to choose between their paychecks and their kids' care.
Childcare
Providers should not struggle to make ends meet while doing one of the most important jobs in our society. Let us build a system that values children, supports parents, and pays educators what they deserve. When our kids thrive, our entire community thrives.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
Housing is unaffordable. The cost of living keeps climbing. The mom and pop businesses we love are disappearing. Our seniors, who helped build this city, are finding the neighborhoods they call home no longer work for them. On top of that, our fundamental rights, reproductive healthcare, voting rights, data privacy, are under attack.
This is where we live. This is what we are up against, and this is ours to solve.
Spokane is hardworking and determined. We have solved problems before by listening to each other and working across our differences. You have helped me build organizations employing many local residents. You have stood with me to advocate for childcare and education access, small business support, and working people. Together, we know how to get things done.
Now I need your help to carry that voice to Olympia. I am asking for your trust to represent us in the State Legislature. To champion the solutions we know we need. To make sure Spokane is heard where decisions get made.
Together, we will lower housing costs. We will protect our rights. We will support the businesses that make Spokane, Spokane. We will make sure our seniors age with dignity in the communities they built.
This is about us.
Let's build a Spokane that works for everyone.
